WebSep 15, 2015 · The gas burners on the stove top works fine (both gas and igniter). The oven does not work. Turning the settings to Bake and 350 degrees ... the screen goes to 100 as it should, I hear the click of the igniter but no heat. I removed the inside of the oven (racks and cover pans to expose igniter) turned oven on and igniter did not glow red. WebAug 8, 2000 · Caloric built-in oven/broiler. I recently purchased a 35 year old home. It has a Caloric Pilotless oven/broiler built-in. My problem is that it now fails to light. The "oven on" light comes on when I turn the temp. setting knob, but no fire or clicking of the crazy thing trying to light. The model number is RXP216 and serial #5071062.
